You are never too young to begin proactively caring for your eyes and we recommend regular comprehensive eye examinations for children and adults to ensure the health of their eyes. In children we recommend an initial screening at six months followed by ophthalmologic exams at age three and then every two years through their teen years. Adults should have their eyes examined every one to three years depending on risk factors, age and overall physical health.
